Our Painter - Kathy Ebert shows how she developed our signature block:

Careful development was applied to block's construction in template-fashion; and with proportionate spacing, she applied it to the travel block that will appear throughout Washington
County, Iowa during community events.  With a finished template designed on our travel block, she is ready to complete the painting process.
   

Using precision during her painting process, she carefully tapes off areas she wants to preserve from paint; and as she nears
   
completion of the paint process, she secures the block with border painting, making it ready for total display.

This total care/concern for each block that was painted in 2007 is due to the dedication and drawing instructions of
Kathy Ebert.

Kathy's work started in April, 2007, on the block illustrated here. 
Her countless hours should be recognized--each time a barn quilt block is erected.
